Camden County 4-H has a lot to offer our youth this summer with several day camps!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Farm-to-Table Camp (May 27-28):<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Find out where your food comes from!  On Tuesday, we will tour a beef cattle farm and explore their market and on Wednesday, we will tour a local farm and collect produce to cook with!  This event is for youth currently in 5th grade and up.  To register for this event, please email Ms. Shawnie at ssahadeo@uga.edu<\/a> to save your spot, and plan to bring the registration fee the morning of the event (cash or check only please).  We have space for 12 participants.  We will run this event from 8:30-3:30 at our office in Woodbine.  Cost is $25 and includes transportation to the scheduled tours and lunch.  Please let us know of any food allergies ASAP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4-H at the Camden County Library (June 2):<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Free! Just show up. Starts at 10:00am<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summer Waves (June 3):<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are hanging out with our friends from all over our district for a fun day at the water park!\u00a0 Drop off for this event is at our office in Woodbine, 8:45-9am.\u00a0 We plan to return by 4:30pm.\u00a0 The $27 registration fee covers entry.\u00a0 Please bring money for food and snacks at the park.\u00a0 You may bring a water bottle. This event is for our junior\/senior 4-H\u2019ers currently in 7th\u00a0grade and up.\u00a0 We have space for 12 participants. Event Registration Link<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teen IKEA Trip (June 17):<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This is becoming a Camden 4-H Tradition!  Join us for Swedish meatballs and fun shenanigans as we tour IKEA in Jacksonville.  No fee for the trip, and you must provide meal and spending money.  We have space for 12 participants.  Please email Ms. Shawnie at sshahadeo@uga.edu<\/a> to reserve your spot.  For students currently in 7th grade and up.  Plan to arrive at our office between 8:45-9am and spend the day with us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art Day Camp (June 24):<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Calling all artists in grades 5-12! We will spend a day being creative at our office in Woodbine.\u00a0 Drop off will be 8:15-8:30 and we will finish up by 3:30pm.\u00a0 Cost is $12, and you will need to bring a lunch. Event Registration Link<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are planning a day filled with science and engineering!
