Welcome to our 5th graders!
Hello 5th graders! Welcome to the beginning of your 4-H journey! We will be visiting your classroom 6 times this school year, and are excited to get to know you! Our first meeting will be all about 4-H and what you have to look forward to. Our other meetings will contain fun, interactive lessons about leadership, science, and life skills. In addition to that, you will have opportunities each time we visit to earn 4-H spirit points for your school, participate in community service, and learn about ways to plug in to 4-H outside of your classroom!
Team Spirit:
We have a friendly competion going on all year to see which school can earn the most 4-H spirit points! Keep reading to see how you can earn points for your school!
Community Service:
Start saving those can tabs! Fill up a ziploc bag, then bring them to school on your 4-H day! You get points for our spirit contest AND you are helping earn money for the Ronald McDonald House charity!
Wear Green!
Wear green on all of your 4-H days! FYI, bookbags, lunch boxes, water bottles and under garments don’t count.
Georgia 4-H Project Achievement
Conquer the fear of public speaking, teach others about something you love, and earn a LOT of points doing it! We will start advertising for this later in the year.
