
Hello Parents and 4-H’ers!
We are pumped about Project Achievement–Georgia 4-H’s premier event, where youth gain knowledge, confidence, life skills, and new friends! Our 7th-12th grade competitors completed their competition on Feb. 1, and now we are gearing up to prepare our awesome 4th-6th graders for their competition next month! We are also debuting a new online registration system, accepting summer camp registration, and getting ready for our spring programs beginning in March.

5th Grade Updates
Your presentations and speeches were awesome! Those selected to advance to our district Cloverleaf Project Achievement contest will be notified by Feb. 12. Also: Remeber your can tabs! Next month is the last chance to turn them in! Wear Green, and come to activities outside your classroom to earn more points!

4-H Summer Camp
We still have spots available for our summer camp opportunities, but they are going fast! To find more information or to register, visit our Summer Camps or Event Registration webpages.
Things to know:
- Registration is first come, first served! Online registration does not guarantee a space for either of the senior camp options.
- All camp deposits (that first $100 payment to secure a spot) are NONREFUNDABLE.
- CLOVERLEAF camp fees are due by June 1st. ALL OTHER CAMPS must be paid in full by May 1st.
- All registration must be done ONLINE. Please visit our Event Registration webpage for detailed instructions regarding the registration process. Cash and check payments may be made at our office AFTER you have created your online account.
- There will be a MANDATORY camp orientation meeting for ALL campers and at least one parent. Attendance is MANDATORY. Packing list and travel information will only be released to those in attendance. Date TBD.
- We have fundraisers scheduled to start in March/April to help pay for camp.
- There are a limited amount of scholarships available to ACTIVE 4-H’ers.
- Reach out to agent to request a scholarship application.
Congratulations to our Camden County 4-H Jr and Sr District Project Achievement competitors!
- Megan McDonald, 12th grader from CCHS, placed 1st in the Dairy Food Project and will compete at our state competition in July and Madison McDonald, 11th grader from CCHS placed 2nd in the Engineering and Mechanics Project. We also had competitors in the senior Performing Arts Dance and Communications categories and a Junior competitor in the Performing Arts General category. We are so proud of all of our competitors! Contact our office to see how YOU can explore your passions and compete in this competition. Preparations for next year start now!
Upcoming Events
- Cloverleaf Project Achievement workshops begin Feb. 20! Watch your email for details and instructions on how to sign up for practice spots.
- Survival Skills Club: If you signed up for this, please check your email for reminders about upcoming meetings!
- County Council (7th-12th graders): Feb. 13–repurpose a blanket or towel! We are collecting donations for humane society.
- Cloverleaf Cooking: starting back in March! Two more classes, open to all 5th-6th graders and previous participants. $15 per class. March 27 and April 15. Online registration begins March 1.
- Environmental Science Club begins March 18! Club will meet March 18, April 10, and May 13 at Crooked River State Park. $10 per class. Online registration begins March 1.
