Hello Parents and 4-H’ers!

In this season of giving, we hope you all remember to give your best to ensure your heads, hearts, hands, and health are well cared for! We wish you the happiest of holidays and hope that you are able to take time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the gift of time with loved ones.

We have some awesome ways to give to others, and to learn a few things too, so keep reading and find a place to plug in to 4-H!

4-H Lingo

Cloverleaf: 4-H’er that is in 4th, 5th, or 6th grade
Junior: 4-H’er that is in 7th or 8th grade
Senior: 4-H’er in 9th-12th grades
County Council: monthly meeting for Junior and Senior 4-H’ers that focuses on leadership and life skills
Spin Club: SPIN stands for “special interest”

What’s Going On In 4-H

  • NEW: Survival Club!
    • for 5th-7th grade 4-H’ers. Limit 10. Cost is $15. Clubs will meet Dec 17, Jan 21, and Feb 11 at the Nature Center at Crooked River State Park, 4:30-6pm. 4-H Registration Page (active 12/4 pm)
  • JR/SR Christmas Party: for current/active 7th-12th grade 4- H’ers. Dec. 14. Cost is $25 for more info, visit registration page using code above. 4-H Registration Page
  • DPA Reminders: Portfolio ROUGH DRAFTS are due ASAP. Final copies due Dec. 20. Make an appointment to meet with us on Dec. 18, 19, or 20 for help. Contest is Jan 31-Feb 2.
  • Come see us in the Island of Misfit Toys at the Library Lights event on Dec. 6 & 7, 6:30-8pm. (Camden Co. Library)
