4-H Lingo

Cloverleaf: 4-H’er that is in 4th, 5th, or 6th grade
Junior: 4-H’er that is in 7th or 8th grade
Senior: 4-H’er in 9th-12th grades
County Council: monthly meeting for Junior and Senior 4-H’ers that focuses on leadership and life skills

We Love Our Volunteers

4-H volunteers are the BEST! We are so much better because of how much they give to the kids and adults in our programs. THANK YOU to all of our wonderful volunteers!

Summer Camp

Save the Date — May 20!

  • ALL CAMPERS AND PARENTS MUST ATTEND CAMP ORIENTATION!
  • All folks attending Junior, Senior, Senior XTREME, and Wilderness Challenge camps will need to be at the college auditorium at 5pm on May 20.
  • ALL Cloverleaf campers and parents must attend their orientation at 6 pm in the college auditorium.
  • ANYONE THAT DOES NOT ATTEND THEIR MEETING ON MAY 20 MUST SCHEDULE A TIME TO MEET WITH STAFF AT THE 4-H OFFICE BEFORE CAMP!

Summer Programs

CLOVERLEAF CAMPS – (for those completing 4th-6th grades)

  • MAY 29-31: STEAM DAY CAMP
    • Immerse yourself in all things STEAM! A fun filled day camp diving into science, technology, engineering, arts, and math! Limited to 10 participants. Cost is $30 STEAM Camp Registration
  • JUNE 12-14: FARM TO TABLE AG CAMP
    • Learn the importance of agriculture in a new way! A day camp focused on Georgia’s main commodities and how to cook with them! Limited to 10 participants. Cost is $30 Farm To Table AG Camp Registration

TEEN EVENTS (all teen activities are for those currently finishing 7th – 12th grades – except State Council which is 8th – 11th)

SPACE IS LIMITED TO 12 PER EVENT. TRANSPORTATION WILL BE PROVIDED. MUST HAVE CURRENT CODE OF CONDUCT AND MEDICAL FORM ON FILE TO PARTICIPATE. Teen Events Registration

  • State Council: $125 + spending money/meals. Come spend a weekend at Rock Eagle, enjoy social time and learning opportunities, and help choose the leaders for our next 4-H year! IF YOU NEED TO BE TEEN LEADER CERTIFIED, YOU CAN DO THAT HERE! Will need to provide money for meals on the way up and back. Register by June 5th. Must have completed 8th grade by June 1.
  • Catty Shack: Cost $15 + spending money/meals. Come experience big cats up close at Catty Shack Sanctuary. Plan on departing around 12:15 and returning by 4pm. Register by June 10th.
  • IKEA Trip: Spending and Meal Money. The teens want to eat some swedish meatballs and explore the wonders of IKEA?!? Plan on leaving at 10 am and
    returning by 4pm. Register by June 10th.
  • Ichetucknee Springs Trip: $30 + ice cream/spending money. Come tubing with us! Cost includes lunch, park entrance, and tube rental. Plan to be the office by 7am. ETA will be determined day of event, but will be after 5pm. Register by June 20th.
