Did you know there are two places in the county with weather stations that you can view the current live conditions at any time? This could be very helpful in making pesticide application decisions. One weather station being right here at the Burke County Extension Office! To see the weather at the Extension Office simply go to our office website- https://extension.uga.edu/county-offices/burke.html once there click on the tab to the left called Local Weather and you will see Temp, Dew Point, Wind Direction and Speed, Rainfall, Barometric Pressure and Many More.
The other option is the UGA Weather Net in Midville. That can be found here. http://www.georgiaweather.net/?content=calculator&variable=CC&site=MIDVILLE from there you can find all the different measurements of weather.
