There will be a Peanut Shade Tree Meeting on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 10:00 am. The meeting will be held at Smith-Healy Farms (Jeff Lanier) in Wade Hodges peanut field which is located at 5668 Banks Dairy Road, Statesboro, GA 30458.

The peanut field is behind the pecan orchard. We will meet in pecan orchard behind the shelters and white house. We will meet under the shelter if it happens to be raining.
Dr. Bob Kemerait, Plant Pathologist, and Dr. Mark Abney, Peanut Entomologist, will be in attendance to discuss current peanut disease and insect issues. Dr. Kemerait will also discuss current cotton disease issues and soybean rust movement in the southeast.
