University of Georgia Cooperative Extension will host a tax law workshop focused on the implementation of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and its effect on farming operations. Through these workshops, farmers and landowners will learn tax planning techniques and review how to correctly report income. The workshops will cover individual tax changes like standard deductions, business tax changes and comparisons of corporation tax statuses.
Join us for a half-day seminar on May 18th at the Bulloch County Center for Ag. This workshop will highlight estate tax changes, individual tax changes and business tax changes in the “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.” It will also include a review of schedule F (farming profit and loss) as well as some tax planning techniques.
