Effective management of cotton stalks and winter weeds has always been one of the UGA Cotton Team’s ‘Best Management Practices’ based on sound research. Given our relatively mild winter, survival of some cotton even now, and the new threat of Blue Disease, management of stalks and winter weeds is even more important now heading into the 2019 season.
