There has been a remarkable increase in beef semen sales over the last few years. While artificial insemination (AI) is a powerful tool that has really helped the beef industry make genetic progress, this
increase in beef semen sales not necessarily reflects an increase in the adoption of AI by beef cattle
producers in the U.S. If this is the case, what is driving this increase in beef semen sales? This article evaluates some of the potential drivers of the current increase in beef semen sales.
