Wallace:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Welcome to our April Newsletter on Cogongrass. This species blooms in April-June and is a\u00a0<em>very high priority invasive<\/em>\u00a0in Georgia and the southeastern US. Cogongrass spreads rapidly by rhizomes on landscaping and earthmoving equipment. \u00a0Report suspected populations of cogongrass via the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eddmaps.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EDDMapS website<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/apps.bugwood.org\/apps\/eddmaps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EDDMapS app<\/a>, these reports go to directly to the GFC Forest Health Coordinator for evaluation and management.
