Leaf Rust in Wheat

Leaf Rust has been confirmed in Southwest Georgia Wheat Fields.  Dr. Alfredo Martinez-Espinoza,  UGA Extension Plant Pathologist suggests that current weather patterns’ are  conducive to rust development.  Be sure to actively scout and monitor your wheat fields.  Call our office if you need assistance identifying rust or for fungicide options.
